Join Nappanee Parks, Elkhart County Parks and the Nappanee Public Library for an evening of chasing "fireflies", stories, a take home craft and S'mores in a Bag!
Each participant will collect our "fireflies" to win prizes, listen to firefly themed stories with the Nappanee Public Library, learn about bugs from Elkhart County Parks and enjoy a unique take on s'mores!
Parent supervision is required for all participants. This event and prizes are geared towards ages K - 5 but all are welcome.
Parking is limited at the cabin. Overflow parking will be along the drive to the cabin and at the Borkholder Nature Center. Please be prepared for walking.
Since we will be in the woods on the trails, we advise bringing bug spray and dressed for the outdoors.
Fee is $5.00 per child
This event will be followed by a more adult themed night time bug event!
